The Rail Trail, as you've probably heard, is a game-changing transportation initiative for Santa Cruz County that will run 32 miles along the railroad tracks between Watsonville and Davenport.
"But when will it be finished?" you may ask. "What will it look like? And when will I be able to ride it?"
Tuesday, Dec. 8 is your chance to have those questions answered as Cory Caletti, transportation planner with the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission, and Amelia Conlen of Bike Santa Cruz County lay it all out during a one-hour presentation sponsored by the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County, lead fundraiser for the Rail Trail. These events fill up fast, so sign up for your free ticket soon.
Hotel Paradox Grand Ballroom, 611 Ocean St, Santa Cruz. 7-8pm. Free, but registration required. Register here (scroll to the bottom).
